Social Media Marketing in Dayton, OH: Posts that keep you current, ads that bring in leads.
We run social media marketing for Dayton-area businesses: the content calendar, posts and replies that keep your pages active, and paid ads on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube that reach new customers. Every campaign is tracked back to calls, forms and sales.
Two jobs in one plan: show up every week, and pay to reach the right people.
Social media marketing is using platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube to win customers, through organic posts you publish for free and paid ads you target and budget.
Most small businesses need some of both. Organic social media management keeps your pages current and makes sure the people who comment or message you get an answer. Paid social puts your offer in front of people who've never heard of you, filtered by location, interests or job title.
Feeds are ranked for each person. Meta says its systems predict which posts people will find most relevant, so a post isn't guaranteed to reach everyone who follows you. We treat organic as the place people check you out, and paid as the way you reach new customers on purpose.
The mechanics of Meta and LinkedIn ad auctions are in our guide to Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn ads for Dayton businesses. This page covers what we do and how we run it.
Everything we handle on organic and paid social.
Audience research and channel selection
We find where your customers actually spend time and pick the one or two platforms worth your budget, instead of spreading thin across all of them.
Content calendar
A monthly plan of posts built around your seasons, offers and local events, approved by you before anything goes live.
Post writing and scheduling
We write the captions and schedule posts to your Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn pages so they go out on time without you thinking about it.
Community management
Replies to comments and messages on your pages. Anything that needs your answer, like a quote request or a complaint, gets flagged to you quickly.
Meta and Instagram campaign management
Facebook and Instagram ads built in Ads Manager, with the objective, audience, placements and budget set around leads or sales.
LinkedIn advertising for B2B
Campaigns targeted by job title, company, industry and seniority for businesses that sell to other businesses.
YouTube and connected TV placement
Video campaigns on YouTube, including placements on TV screens like smart TVs and streaming devices.
Programmatic display strategy
Display ads across websites and apps, often used to bring back people who visited your site but didn't call.
Creative direction and ad copywriting
Headlines, captions and ad text written for each audience, plus direction on which photos and video to use.
Cross-channel attribution setup
Meta Pixel, Conversions API, LinkedIn Insight Tag and GA4 set up so ads and posts can be tied to the calls, forms and sales they drive.
Unified performance reporting
One monthly report covering every platform, so you see what social brought in without logging into four dashboards.
Facebook advertising, Instagram marketing and LinkedIn ads: picking the right platform
The right platform is the one your buyers already use. Businesses that sell to households usually start on Facebook and Instagram, and businesses that sell to other companies usually start on LinkedIn.
We'd rather run one platform well than four badly, so we start with one and add a second once the first is tracked and paying off.
| Platform | Usually fits | What we run there |
|---|---|---|
| Facebook and Instagram (Meta) | Businesses that sell to local households: home services, restaurants, retail, fitness, events. | Organic posting and community management, lead ads, traffic and sales campaigns, retargeting. |
| B2B and professional services that sell to decision makers at other companies. | Company page posts, sponsored content and Lead Gen Form campaigns targeted by job title, company and industry. | |
| YouTube and connected TV | Brands with a video message and a broad local audience. | Video campaigns on YouTube, with placements on TV screens such as smart TVs and streaming devices. |
| Programmatic display | Businesses with enough website traffic to retarget, or a defined audience to reach across the web. | Display ads on websites and apps, mostly to bring back people who visited but didn't convert. |
Facebook ads management: why we build in Ads Manager instead of boosting posts
Boosting a post is the quickest way to pay for more reach, but Meta's own help center says boosted posts don't have as many customization and detailed targeting options as ads built in Ads Manager.
A boost starts from a post you already published. Ads Manager lets you pick objectives like leads and sales, choose more placements, build carousel ads and use lookalike audiences. Meta also notes that campaign creation, budget settings and performance metrics are only available in Ads Manager.
Boosting still has a place for a post that's already doing well with your followers. Anything meant to produce leads gets a proper campaign with tracking.

How social media marketing pricing works
Social media marketing has up to two costs: our monthly management and, if you run ads, the ad spend you pay directly to Meta, LinkedIn or Google.
Management is priced by scope: how many platforms, how often we post, how much community management you need and how many ad campaigns we run. We quote it after the free audit so you know the cost before you commit, and every retainer is month-to-month.
Ad spend is yours to set. Meta and LinkedIn both price ads through an auction and let you cap spending with a daily or lifetime budget. We'll recommend a starting budget once we've looked at your market.

What does a social media marketing agency do?
A social media marketing agency plans, creates and manages your business's presence on platforms like Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, and runs paid ads there. For us that means content calendars, posting, replying to comments and messages, ad campaigns, tracking, and a monthly report tied to leads.
How much does social media management cost?
It depends on scope: how many platforms you're on, how often you post, how much community management you need and whether you also run ads. We price management as a month-to-month retainer and quote it after a free audit, so you know the cost before you commit. Ad spend is separate, paid directly to the platform, and you control it with a daily or lifetime budget.
Do you handle organic social media or only paid ads?
Both. We manage organic posting, content calendars and community management on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, and we run paid campaigns on Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube and programmatic display. You can hire us for one side or both.
What's the difference between social media management and social media marketing?
Social media management usually means the day-to-day work on your pages: planning posts, publishing them and answering comments and messages. Social media marketing is the wider job, which adds strategy, paid ads, tracking and reporting on what it all brings in. We do both, and the audit shows which parts you actually need.
Is social media marketing worth it for a small business?
It can be, as long as it's measured by leads and not likes. An active page gives people who look you up something current to see, and paid social lets you reach people within a set radius of your business. If social isn't the best use of your budget right now, the free audit will say so and point you to what is.
How long does it take to see results from social media marketing?
Paid social can show useful data within weeks, while organic social usually takes months. Meta says ad sets leave the learning phase once they deliver stably, usually after about 50 results in the week after the last significant edit, and performance is less stable until then. That's why we avoid constant edits early on and judge organic growth over a longer stretch.
How often should a business post on social media?
There's no magic number. Post as often as you have something worth saying and can keep it up. A steady schedule beats a burst of daily posts that stops after a month, so we set the cadence in your content calendar based on how much real material your business has.
Which social media platform is best for my business?
The best platform is the one your customers already use. Businesses that sell to households usually start on Facebook and Instagram, and businesses that sell to other companies usually start on LinkedIn, where ads can target by job title, company, industry and seniority. YouTube fits when you have a video message for a broad local audience.
Should I boost posts or run Facebook ads in Ads Manager?
Use Ads Manager for anything meant to produce leads or sales, and save boosting for posts that are already doing well. Meta says boosted posts have fewer customization and detailed targeting options than ads built in Ads Manager. Objectives like leads and sales, lookalike audiences and campaign budget settings all live in Ads Manager.
Are Facebook ads better than Google Ads for a local business?
Neither is better across the board, because they reach people at different moments. Google Ads shows your ad when someone searches for what you sell, so it catches people who are already looking. Facebook and Instagram ads reach people by location and interests before they've started searching, which suits building demand and promoting offers. We manage both.
Do you create the content, or do I need to send photos?
We plan the calendar, write the posts and ad copy, and give creative direction on what to use. Real photos and short clips of your team, your work and your space usually make the strongest posts, so we'll tell you what's worth capturing and turn it into posts and ads.
Will I own my social media and ad accounts?
Yes. Your Facebook Page, Instagram account, LinkedIn page and ad accounts stay in your name, and we work in them as a partner. In Meta Business Suite, the business that owns an asset gives a partner full or partial access, and only the owner can share that asset with another business. If you ever leave, you remove our access and keep everything.
Do you require a long-term contract for social media management?
No. Every retainer is month-to-month, with no long-term contract. Results keep clients, not contracts.
How do you measure social media marketing results?
We measure social by the leads, calls, messages and sales it brings in, with engagement as a supporting number. That means setting up the Meta Pixel and Conversions API, the LinkedIn Insight Tag and GA4, so actions on your website can be tied back to the ad or post that drove them. Your monthly report shows cost per lead by platform and what we're changing next.
Do you offer social media marketing in Springboro, Kettering and Centerville?
Yes. We're based in Springboro, about 20 minutes south of Dayton, and work with businesses in Dayton, Centerville, Kettering, Miamisburg, Springboro and across the Dayton region. You work directly with the strategist running your account, and we respond within one business day.
